Why are horror movies unpopular nowadays?

I mean sure i know theres hardcore horror fans like me, but when you look at top films of the year and all time, its rare to see a horror movie in the top 10.

It seems the only Horror Movies that seem to get any high ratings were the ones made back in 70s-80s.

The most recent horror film francise that turned out big was the Scream series, each one getting a gross revenue around $100,000,000 or more.

You can say SAW series is the same, but look at the past 3 movies and there under 50 million, which is sad, its a amazing series… and my theory why people dont watch is because they dont understand the plot twists, so they gave up.

I really want there to be a horror movie that turns out BIG and can even break the top 5, something along the lines of what you see in Scream 2, where there is a huge line of people trying to get into the theater and everyone is partying like it is the movie of the decade.

Joshchristian100 is a person on youtube obsesses about God, which is ok… but has a ego from here to Afghanistan about it. Says stupid things because his parents made a point of it, and makes Copyright Infringment with The Jonas Brothers…
What we want to say is… that his video's and his message, most of the time ego ones that God is with him to shut 4chan down, are stupid.
